It facilitates a multi-user environment that allows creation of queries against any data source and generation of reports on those queries, which are rendered directly inside excel thereby giving the end users full control to leverage the excel capabilities to perform pivot, vlookup, charting etc. on the report. Entitlements can be managed at role, user and report level.
